Welcome to Steemit! Yes, YouTube and some other social media platforms can be very poisonous and can be terrible for your self esteem and for your confidence, so great job for recognizing that! Taking steps away from YouTube can be benefical to your own sense of self worth. Why do you think bullies feel it necessary to berate and judge so often? You would think if they didn't have anything nice to say, they wouldn't comment, but that isn't the case.

Thanks a lot. Luckily it goes in one ear and out the other. Mostly because my YouTube channel isn't a very "personal" one in a sense that it's not about me. BUT people who do have those kinds of channels are suffering at the hands of these evil people that feel a need to talk smack...
