YouTube is Demonetizing small channels!

in youtube •  7 years ago  (edited)

New Year new rules for the YouTube company! They announced changes to their monetization program so small channels won't be able to make money unless they have more than 1000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of total views in the last year!

Before this, you had to have at least 10 000 views on your channel, but now the game has changed. This is not necessarily a bad thing, because if you are passionate and make something unique it won't be a problem to accomplish their requirements. YouTube and Google(Google owns YouTube) change their algorithm every month so people can't cheat. Now you won't be able to make money with fake views. The best part is that you will receive more money from ads, because all this small channels will disappear.

People say it's Logan Paul's fault( a young youtuber) after he posted a video with a dead man in a forest and the big companies that had ads on his channels started a big fight with YouTube to delete Logan's channel! maxresdefault.jpg

So long story short, you will make more money if you have more than 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours in views or you will make no money if you try to cheat!

So what do you think about their new policy?
