"In January 2012, two dozen soldiers from the notorious SEAL Team Six glided trough the Somali night on their parachutes. Their target was a pirate hideout where two hostages were being held. Since neither numerous talks nor the offering of $1.5 million persuaded the hijackers to release them, President Obama had personally authorized the rescue operation.
Just a short time later, 24 SEALs then jumped out of a plane over Mogadishu and approached the hideout by parachute so that the hostage-takers would not be alerted by loud noises. After landing in a remote area, they crept up to the enemy camp on foot for several kilometers. One hostage remembers hearing a strange noise, which her captors also noticed shortly thereafter. They shouted warnings to each other, but by then it was too late. Out of nowhere, the elite soldiers poured out of the darkness and turned the camp into hell on earth for the enemies. After a short but fierce firefight, they had killed all 9 pirates and freed the hostages, whereupon they were picked up by several helicopters."
