Google has been accused of collecting information on children illegally on Google-controlled video sharing sites YouTube. For several years the organization has illegally collecting billions of US baby information. YouTube is making huge profits through this. 20 advocacy group companies complained to the Federal Trade Commission for collecting data from minors. According to the complaint, YouTube has violated the Child Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for collecting information.

COPPA law prohibits the collection of children under 13 years of age. It is mandatory for every US company to comply with this law. But for some reason children have the opportunity to collect information, if they need to collect information related to parental permission. According to YouTube's policy, anyone below 13 years will not get access to this platform. By using a Google Account, the YouTube related customer is more than 13 years old. After age verification, the customer has the opportunity to use YouTube. However, children get access to YouTube videos without logging in to their accounts. In this case there is a limit to the use of the parents' account. However, according to the study of Trainer, 45 percent of the children ages 8-12 years of age have a YouTube account. At the end of last year, media reports said that a child named Ryan launched a YouTube channel named Ryan Tirevie with the help of family at the age of four. The subscriber's subscriber count has crossed the million. Six-year-old Ryan's earnings reached $ 10.1 million. Many have criticized YouTube for displaying ads on such a baby channel.
