hey no problem! I know very well what it's like when YouTube inevitably "turns on you". As you can probably tell, it became one of my "pet peaves"! And if I can somehow help even a few other YouTubers to find a "light at the end of the tunnel" (especially now that STEEMIT is around), I'm thrilled to do so.
On a separate note, I think I may have even come up with some ideas on how content could be more continually monetized on STEEMIT as well! Plan to make a post about it in the near future.

Welcome! This is so cool to see. I've been avoiding youtube for years for many reasons. I guess the "i'm so perfect and my life is awesome" vlog thing that appears to do well on YT just isn't for me, so I felt like I could never make it on there. Of course my view is exaggerated. There are channels that are very low key and do well. But something is different here. Ironically, I think SteemIt is what will cause me to take the leap into youtube... Why? ha it's because there are videos I now am sure I want to make just so i can share them with my fellow steemians! What a thought... That's great to hear! YouTube is a great tool to use as a means of sharing your videos within your Steemit posts.
