We just stopped at the side of a road to see if we would find anything, expecting a couple small finds at best. Instead we found one of the most surprising things we ever found, a little over 20kg worth of ammunition, mostly 20mm heavy machine gun but also some smaller calibres. Most were empty but there were some live shells mixed in that we opened and cleaned out to render them safe to handle.
