Finished season for Tim Tebow?

Tim Tebow may have to cut his season at New York Mets affiliates because of a fracture in his hand.

The former NFL quarterback allegedly fractured the hamatum bone in his right hand this weekend and could go under the knife on Tuesday, according to the ESPN network reported Monday.

The 30-year-old plays for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies this season at the AA level. He maintained a batting average of .273, hitting six homers in 84 games. The outfielder produced 36 points and scored 32 points.

After being ignored by NFL clubs, Tebow signed a minor league contract with the Mets in September 2016.
