In a free and open marketplace, inequality is going to happen. The only way to make outcomes equal would require an actual fascist totalitarian system. I've learned recently that most whales on here are that big because they were mining Steem back when it was mineable and worth something like $0.07.

A fair launch = a fairer inequality in the end, so then no one can complain. Ninja pre-mining Steem was an definitely an unfair inequality to begin with. Intervention in markets like this always is!

If everyone begins on the same starting line its easier to accept losing the race... even if they have the inside lane!

I read a biological law once that said the square root of any population ends up with 50% of the wealth in the end with a fair start. Equality of opportunity never equates to equality of outcome in any population.
