General Morphology of Grass Plants. Grass includes the Granineae family and is a plant that can grow wild almost in all open or protected areas, both in tropical and sub tropical areas. Grasses can grow gradually or individually. The structure of the grass is different from the flower structure in other plants where the grass has a lemma, palea and a protective leaf called gluma, which is divided into the lower gluma and upper gluma besides the very small flower size so that a tool is needed to observe it, whereas in other plants the leaf blossom is called barctea and the size of the flower is bigger than the grass flower and can be seen with the invisible without using the tool
