Capitalism hurts the workers

UBI poses many problems.

  1. Where do you get the taxation for it? Corporations won't pay for it, they will keep their money offshore till they can get a good taxation on it. You won't get it off working people either you might aswell just get rid of theirs.

  2. It still won't help with engagement , the work usually has to do with tasks entailed and how you are treated. Not how much you have to do, if you are truly engaged and enjoy your job you won't mind how much you have to do ahead of you.

  3. UBI doesn't fundamentally fix the problem within capitalism, if anything it will create more contradictions.

  1. It depends on the country you're in, for example in France we have a lot of different financial helps from government, all these helps could be deleted and merge into a UBI.

  2. Yes it doesn't solve the problem of engagement ...

  3. I'm not sure it will create more contradictions, because it can help fixing other problem like unemployment, people will work less but also more people will work

capitalism does need unemployment to function

Yes that is fully true, that's why the system need to be switched to an other one. A better one

which can only happen one way, revolution.
