Looks a little India-style at the moment! (improvised). You say, trams are back - even if not quite - you imply they once were there. When and why did they take the (whole?) tramline away?? Aren't trams the new way to travel in this electric age? Especially in squeaky clean Finland?

Yes , there used to be trams in the city but some how they were vanished. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trams_in_Turku

A most curious development, hard to understand with other European cities expanding or improving their tramlines to encourage the use of public transportation in the most regulated (safe?) way. I presume your busses are electric, but still... I suppose also it is a numbers-game (fewer people wanting to get around in all that snow: which reminds me why trams would be safer especially in Turku - your blue picture made me forget, but your other photo reminded me.)

Yes, possibly encourage people to use more of public transportation may be. But to built those trams its gonna take so much effort and has to pull down some beautiful old buildings which are on the way. But lets see when they are going to start and finish this project

Typical infrastructure logistics! Never make sense. The tram came after those beautiful old buildings (spoiling the street, I agree), and then they took the convenience of transportation away and now it can't go back?

I suppose they only want to do that if they can expand? Which implies a greater need for public transportation. Help Turku: donate now!

Remains my question: What is that one tram doing there then?

Well, in Turku there used to be trams but they are planning to bring them back . That’s why it there x

To the question in your title, my Magic 8-Ball says:

My sources say no
