To start off since Zappl has launched it has put in a lot of development. The budget we have and the investment that has been made has been okay to continue steady development. Zappl is still trying to finish it use investment round but were sure it should be closing soon. This should help make the development for the zappl beta go much quicker and hopefully move us out of beta by summers end.
Zappl is starting to see a huge surge in people who are interested in the site and early analytic reports show zappl is growing at a steady rate. Zappl was down for more than a week for major updates but since has started back up and is in use by many more users. Zappl is quickly addressing issues as fast as it can and is working on a newer Ui/ux.
Zappl has made a huge amount of ui /ux and backend changes.

Api updates:
Some of the more notable changes in Zappl is our api, we switched over from using api.steemjs.com to more of a building using steem-js more to load content.
Zappl also over hauled from using websockets to json2.0/Rpc methods which in some cases has made certain data calls much quicker in both app's and web. Honestly like many we didn't see the updates about switching methods and found some things broken because of it.
Many ui /ux and typography changes have been made:
- Fron't page re design for Zappl.com
- Wallet typography and design changes in both android and web.
- Overhaul of notification system for android
- Profile, feed, tag search page, fixes.
- And many more.
Zappls goals are:
- Get an exchange going or help with getting steem/sbd to fiat pairs.
- Be ready for v.20 user flood.
- Finish Investment funding round.
- Be out of beta by end of summer.
- Become more seo friendly for wide spread adoption.
- Possible live streaming by years end.
- Launch all 3 version of encrypted private chat.
Zappl hopes to help lead the way with other Steem based apps to bringing a change to. What we mean by that is how people share and explore their daily lives while adding value to it.

Zappl launched in beta In October 2017 and had started development in 2nd/3rd quarter of 2017. Its just till recently more people have taken a notice in the project. Also hadn't been pushing it as hard while we made it more user friendly.

The app still has teething problems but is slowly getting there. The website version usually works without issues for me. Can't wait for the private messages to be added.
