Zeitgeist

Good and positive Zeitgeists are more POWERFUL, long lasting and equitable.

Would you care to elaborate? Why is the spirit of destruction essentially shorter lived than one of peace? The reckless and utopian Hippie movement was but an outburst as long lived and influential as the Punk movement, in turn not something inherently 'good and positive'.

Was Adolf Hitler's destruction of Jews shorter lived than the time Hitler was not destroying Jews?

Did you mean to refer to: Quote: "Remember the Zeitgeist, years ago, characterized by love, flowers and protests against war?"

That was the Vietnam War. Classify it as a "Police Action" if you want. Either way it is OVER in many respects. The "love, flowers and protests against war" has been longer-lasting, in my opinion because most of the people that I know that were alive back then are still here and expressing "love, flowers and protests against war." The Vietnam war is over, I could say that the Vietnam war's "spirit" is over. but the spirit of those people I know who were in the spirit of "love, flowers and protests against war" are still in the spirit of "love, flowers and protests against war" even though the current war (against terrorists) is a different war.
