Another week of contest, this week the theme is time, with one that reminds us all as before was taken the time, using an hourglass. As that type of clock reminded me a lot, I decided to place a background of sand with waves, which also filled the clock in what should cover the sand and would serve to take time.
Use 3 shades of yellow, which are added in the image in many parts or in few, combine them with a vinotinto tone, which was degraded until obtaining a fuchsia species. Maybe it looks like an animated, or a kind of yellow festival with vinotinto, but I like the result and I hope that you too.
For the next week suggests the use of green shadows
That is awesome! Good luck in the contest!

I love the mixture of red and yellow, the pattern created by the different shades you used is very striking. I especially like the pattern in the flowing sand and center ornament. The use of a dark wine red really helps accentuate the lighter colours. I think the sand image in the background is very clever too!
