Zimbabwe is back & open for business as the country has entered a new era filled with optimism. Zimbabwe has been firmly placed back on the map for tourism and won itself yet again a spot on the bucket list of travelers and safari-seekers thanks to its affordability, interesting heritage and variety of attractions.

To top it all off, the government of Zimbabwe has announced a revised visa regime where citizens from 28 countries – which previously had to obtain a visa prior to arrival – will now receive visas on arrival; this change will improve travel and unlock the potential of the Zimbabwean tourism industry even further. The 28 countries include India, United States, Brazil, New Zealand, Norway, UAE Mexico, Ethiopia, Panama, and Romania.

Zimbabwe Is Back & Open For Business

There is a famous proverb in Shona, one of the official languages of Zimbabwe, “uKpedza nyota kuenda padziva” which means that if you want information or help, you should seek the advice of an expert.

Falcon Safaris is a Zimbabwean internet-based tour operator who has been specializing in African Safaris and Beach vacations since 1999. Thanks to the team’s expertise and their dynamic leadership in the field of digitally marketing in Southern Africa, Falcon Safaris has become the first choice for many visitors traveling to Southern Africa.

Falcon Safaris is excited to announce a new 10-day mobile safari called ‘The Best of Zimbabwe Tour’ created and run by their team of local experts who have first-hand knowledge and experience of all attractions, activities on offer.

The tour starts in the mesmerizing and equally majestic Victoria Falls and ends in Harare, the cosmopolitan capital of Zimbabwe. Some of the highlights of the tour will take guests through some of the country’s most renowned historical sites, attractions and national parks such as Nyanga Mountains, the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, Matopo Hills, Hwange National Park and of course, Victoria Falls.

This safari experience will give visitors the opportunity to go on numerous game drives, track rhinos on foot, explore museums and the biggest and most significant stone archaeological complex in sub-Saharan Africa plus the opportunity to pay a visit to local villages en route.

Guests will get a true, personal experience of the real Zimbabwe as it is today and a unique perspective of the country while travelling on a specially designed overland truck with local Zimbabweans as their guides.

Starting April 2018 there will be two set departures every month.

Very cool man. Beautiful photos to go along with the post. Those hippos... scary AF! But I'm yet to see one in person, so maybe they just get a bad rap? :P

Looks like an awesome place to go to. If TBEX keeps it's promise of having its conference there in 2019 I'll most likely go.

Its an amazing country I even used to live there :) You have to see Vic Falls!!
