Gharial: This is not Crocodial

The gharial is the creature which is found in North India, Myanmar and Nepal. This looks very similar to Crocodile. This is a critically endangered species. Based on reports, the number of Gharial is decreased 80% in last ten years. It is mostly found in Indus River India-Pakistan. Also Gandak River India-Nepal. Yamuna River in India.

In 1976, it is observed that number of Gharials is 5000-10000. Later in 2006, it is observed it is approximately 200 only. So that very critical situation. This species about to extinct.Crocodials are differ from Gharial.
