So it's finally fashionable to criticize Zuck and his business practices. I remember when this wasn't a thing. I remember when his ethos and reptilian, isolationist, greedy, egotistical nihilist worldview was hip, and more humble people were seen as suspicious. Fortunately for the human race, people like Mark Zuckerberg and Martin Shkreli are recently being taught hard lessons about their place in a herd of equals.
I think a lot of how people like Mark and Martin operate is in darkness. They have to isolate and self-reinforce in online echo-chambers. They remove they challenge of personal confrontations. They hide behind lawyers and security details. They eschew normal human emotional cues and responses. They expect all of us to simply put up with them as they tear a wake through our otherwise peaceful harbor of existing. Where we work to support ourselves and our families. And they work to make us work for them.
I don't know why everyone has to have more money than God. Mark has more money, literally, than he can click fast enough on Amazon to spend in his lifetime. Why does he need so much money? To prove he's the best at making digital zeroes appear in an account somewhere? Whoopie-goddamn-doo, Mark. Whoopie-fucking-doo.
