It is of special significance to hold this meeting at such an important time. We firmly believe that the theme of the times of peace and development has not changed, and the trend of world multipolarization and economic globalization cannot be reversed. We should consider the well-being of the people, uphold the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, and make due contributions to building a better world with practical actions.
First, we should adhere to multilateralism and maintain world peace and stability. In the face of multilateral and unilateral, just and hegemonic disputes, BRICs countries should firmly uphold international equity and justice, hold high the banner of multilateralism, safeguard the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, maintain the international system with the UN as the core, and maintain the international order based on international law. Respect each other's social system, economic model and development path according to their own national conditions. We should advocate the concept of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, resolve differences through consultation and negotiation, oppose interference in internal affairs, oppose unilateral sanctions and "long arm jurisdiction", and jointly create a peaceful and stable development environment.
Second, we should adhere to unity and cooperation and work together to overcome the challenges of the epidemic. It is necessary to strengthen international joint prevention and control and support the World Health Organization to play a key leading role. China is willing to actively consider providing vaccines to BRICs countries in need. We will promote the construction of BRICs vaccine R & D centers. Novel coronavirus pneumonia is being held in China. Instead of uniting with reason, all countries should unite to eliminate the prejudice.
Third, we should adhere to openness and innovation and promote world economic recovery. On the one hand, it is necessary to prevent epidemic situation and stabilize economy on the other hand. We will strengthen macroeconomic policy coordination, promote the implementation of the "cross border flow of people and goods initiative", and ensure the safety and smooth flow of industrial chain and supply chain. Using the epidemic situation to carry out "de globalization" will only damage the common interests of the country and other countries. We should unswervingly build an open world economy and oppose the abuse of the name of national security for protectionism. We will strengthen cooperation in scientific and technological innovation and create an open, fair, just and non discriminatory business environment. China will establish an innovation base for BRICs new industrial revolution partnership in Xiamen, Fujian Province. It is hoped that BRICs countries will support the global data security initiative launched by China.
Fourth, we should give priority to people's livelihood and promote global sustainable development. We will place the implementation of the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development at the core of international development cooperation, take poverty eradication as the primary goal, and give more resources to poverty reduction, education, health, infrastructure construction and other fields. We should support the United Nations to play an integrated and coordinating role, promote the construction of a more equitable and balanced global partnership for development, so that development results can benefit more developing countries and better meet the needs of vulnerable groups.
Fifth, we should adhere to green and low-carbon, and promote the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. We will implement the Paris Agreement on climate change, abide by the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities, and provide more help to developing countries. China will enhance its national independent contribution, and has announced to adopt more effective policies and measures. Its carbon dioxide emission will reach its peak by 2030 and strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. We will do what we say.
Xi Jinping stressed that China will open a new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way. We will scientifically grasp the new development stage, firmly implement the new development concept and actively build a new development pattern. The door of China's opening up will not be closed, it will only open wider and wider. China will more actively integrate into the global market, more actively deepen foreign cooperation, and create more opportunities and space for the recovery and development of the world economy.
