Communism has existed since 1848. The concept or understanding of communism was first coined by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in a political manifesto. Their political manifesto at that time contained an analytical theory of the communist approach to social class struggle and economic prosperity which eventually became the most influential political movement at the time. The background of the emergence of this ideology is due to the economic disparity in various European countries in terms of industry. At that time, the people in power were more concerned with their own economic welfare where farmers and workers were always oppressed. Karl Marx, with his Communism, wanted to create a society that was more just, classless, prioritized everyone's rights, and did not depend on God and religion. For him, religion is a place for humans to escape from a reality that they cannot face. Since then, communism was accepted in many circles and many countries. Especially when the formation of the Soviet Union and International Communism (Comintern) in Russia. This is where communism was at its peak. After the 2nd world war until the end of the cold war (revolution 1989), communist ideology began to be abandoned. The dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991 also undermined this notion. Likewise, some countries still apply communist ideology such as the People's Republic of China, Vietnam, Laos, Cuba, and North Korea as well as Indonesia.
