1: I am transgender
True, I am an AFAB trans man.

2: I am Pagan
Also true, I'm a Druid, specifically.

3: Blond is my natural hair color
True, I have never dyed my hair in my life. Insert blond jokes here.

4: I have two cats
True, Yuan and Maggie are my furry family.

5: I have never been married
Again true, I am perpetually single.

6: I almost joined a Catholic religious order
True! I tried and got rejected three times. They wouldn't take me with depression (two rejections), and they wouldn't take me gay (the last, most virulently angry rejection that said my asexual ass would be too tempted living in community, because don'tcha know gay = insatiable sex fiend? When I pointed out a) I'm ace, which was one of the reasons I wanted to be a religious to be honest, because what's a good Catholic to do if you don't want to marry and make babies, and b) if you really wanted to "save souls" and you thought being gay was bad, you should want all the gay folks to be religious because of the vow of chastity so then they wouldn't be doing the thing you thought was so terrible, so you obviously DON'T want to "save souls," you just want to hate gay people/you think religious vows are worthless which says something about YOUR life ...they replied back, oh, I didn't mean it like that. Dude, you just accused me of not being able to keep it in my pants. Fuck you. But I digress). That was my second and permanent leave of the Catholic church after that.

7: I am small enough that a lot of my clothes come from the kids' section
True facts. Clothes are so much cheaper in the kids' section!

8: I hate cheescake
True! Sorry @twinislandflames. I think it's gross.

9: I have never had a driver's license
True! I had a permit once, but never a license. I haven't driven since the permit expired on my 21st birthday. That's a long story that is a Mr. Magoo-like tale of poverty's domino effect on life where one tiny thing snowballs into something that effects you for years after.

10: I am allergic to apples
False! This is why I'm a sneaky bastard. I am allergic to half the plant kingdom, but apples are one of the foods I have left.

11: I learned to read when I was three years old
True! It was an "aha" moment for me that I chalk up to watching Sesame Street with my older sister. My parents didn't read to me. They were of the "plunk the kids in front of the glowing screen babysitter or kick them out the door to play" variety. One day, my sister (8) read The Cat In The Hat to me (3), trailing her finger under the words as she read them, and it clicked. After that, I could read anything. It became entertainment anytime someone was over the house, to grab the dictionary and ask the three year old to read the biggest word you could find.
Uncle: "Read that."
Me: "Antidisestablishmentarianism."
Uncle: "What does that mean?"
Me: "I dunno, let me read you the definition."
Eventually my parents sent me to preschool (neither of my siblings started school that young), because I guess they didn't know what else to do with me. I never skipped grades, though, so I sat through years of other kids learning to read and I didn't understand what took them so long. 😂
