💗That Nice Lady/Gentleman - Gratitude 04

Ever wandered through the store to look for a specific item and can't seem to find it?

Ever had that lousy moment of being on hold forever and can't seem to get a customer rep to help?

How about trying to merge into crazy traffic?

For this day's gratitude, I'm thankful for

who showed me some kindness.

Helping Hands, Smiling Faces

Every day is another day of busy schedule. If you go to work or stay at home, the day doesn't end without at least one grouchy moment.

I know, I know. We can't change the situation but we can change our perspective. We can choose to see the positive side of things. BUT it also helps when you get a surprisingly random act of kindness.

  1. We were on our way to work and we got caught in crazy traffic due to bridge closure and repair. The drivers ahead of us are driving erratic, zipping infront of other cars and cutting in. Oh no, if this keeps up, an accident's going to happen with all this crazy driving. We're just flowing through traffic and no one seems to let us merge. Until one kind gentleman in an old pickup truck waved at us to merge. Phew. So thankful for him, we waved back.

  2. We bought a Ninja blender online. We use it a lot for smoothies so we bought extra cups and replacement blades. When the blender came, the unit had the right cups and blades but the spare was for a different model. Ninja's customer rep was over the top, she figured out that they sent us an older model and that the replacement blades are for the newer model unit. They sent us a new unit and let us keep the first one. We were really surprised, it's not everyday that we get to have excellent customer service.

  3. Back when we were still eating out (coughing 6 years ago), we went to a burger place. We're new in town and don't know anyone. Suffice to say that we were warmly welcomed by an African-American couple. We had a great conversation while eating. Now that's something we really appreciated.

  4. I was waddling at the office with my 4th pregnancy. You know how it is, those pregnant women are so slow when they're really close to their due date. Anyway, I was slowly walking towards the elevator, planning on catching the next one. But one of the ladies kept the elevator doors for me. Ah, my bladder thank thee. I didn't say that out loud but I was grateful and said thank you with a smile.

Always, when we really look into all the blessings we have, no matter how small or simple we think it is

Common courtesy is so rare now, those who still offer it are real gems. If we could all just do ONE nice thing for a stranger each day, this world would be a much brighter place to live in. Hopefully, we can lead by example and let others know their acts of kindness do not go unrecognized. -Aimee

And...... Thankfullness and kidness and smiles are infectuous! Dont tell the CDC! ;-D

Hahaha! No no it's just hearsay, not admissible in courts. We're good.

I'm sorry mamm its written on the blockchain you are in big trouble Stop being so nice, it is causing others around you to be happy and do good things too. This will not be tolerated!

😱Oh no! I'm in trouble!

@em3 you're clever! Ha ha ha!

Yes, just ONE from everyone is enough. It shouldn't be that difficult.

That's why we're really glad when we are at the receiving end of it when we do it as much as we can for others we don't know. Not expecting it is great because when we do receive kindness it's a surprise, a miracle and a Hallelujah :)
