Ustaz Abdul Somad Batubara, Lc., D.E.S.A. or better known as Ustaz Abdul Somad, Lc., MA. (Arabic: عبد الصمد, born in Silo Lama, Asahan, North Sumatra, May 18, 1977, age 41) is an Indonesian preacher and scholar who often reviews various religious issues, especially the study of hadith and jurisprudence. In addition, he also discussed a lot about nationalism and current issues that are being discussed warmly in the community. His name is publicly known for his Science and his assignment in providing explanations in delivering the da'wah that is broadcast through the Youtube channel. Ustadz Abdul Somad is currently serving as a lecturer at the State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim (UIN Suska) Riau.
