Death is swallowed up in victory and God wiped away every tear from their eyes…
by Tuese Ahkiong
The death being spoken of is spiritual/ covenantal death; being cut off and alienated from God. This is why there is mourning and tears; there is no access to Life Himself, The Lord. Death is swallowed up and there are no more tears because those in the covenant of death is dying because of the covenant of life and its Gospel in which those first covenant folks who place their trust in Yeshua life, righteous, peace, joy and access to The Father. In 1 Cor 15 below, Paul quotes from Hosea 11:14 and Isaiah 25:8 as to very close to being FULFILLED; The Destruction of The Temple in 70AD.
2 Timothy 1:10 and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who ABOLISHED DEATH and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
***King Yeshua conquered and abolished death which is spiritual/covenantal separation from God. To say He did not is to make His Word a lie.
Hosea13:14 Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol? Shall I redeem them from Death? O Death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion is hidden from my eyes.written:“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
Isaiah 25: 8 He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.9 It will be said on that day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”
Rev 7: 15 “Therefore they are before the throne of God, andserve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne willshelter them with his presence. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; thesun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Rev 21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for thefirst heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming downout of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, andthey will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
1Corinthians 15: 50 I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall bechanged. 53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 22:5 And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
**In the Genesis, we see day and night. In Revelation, we see only day.
