It really doesn't matter to me whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, I don't judge.
What the state of New York has done is so disturbing on so many levels. I believe that they have gone insane or just have no regard for human life, I am not sure which. It is nothing short of satanic and I see it as murder.
Why did they go to this extreme? Because they think that the Supreme Court is going to over turn Roe v Wade. They took it to a new low.
Didn't hear about it? Well, they legalized late term abortion. The bill allows a woman to abort a fetus at any time during the pregnancy if her life is threated, however, they did not define what constitutes a threat to a pregnant woman's health. This opens the door to late term abortion that are not a medical necessity. After carrying a baby for 9 months, why not just give it up for adoption? In my opinion, this is murder.
The people in the state government cheered and clapped when this bill passed. I am sorry, but there better be a special place in hell for these people. One in three pregnancies end in abortion in New York. It seems to me people are using abortion as birth control instead of practicing safe sex.
The bill also includes - An abortion no longer needs to be performed by a medical doctor.
It is no longer a crime if someone (other than the mother) kills the fetus.
I view abortion as human sacrifice and when you consider the fact that Planned Parenthood sells the aborted fetuses we as a society need to respect all life, especially that of those who can not speak for themselves.

The youtube title is misleading, Gates there was talking about 1.3 billion "less population growth" it seems. As opposed to a Billion dead, but a lot of these "Mother Earthers" don't care HOW we get a population reduction, they just see mankind as a disease to the planet. INDEED Earth was created for MAN, not the other way around! Even a realistic View of an "Earth Mother" would have us as her children, not as a scourge upon the Earth.

I think Vaccines are overall a GOOD THING, but too many additives and in this context, Gates mentions them as Population Control Devices. Look at the "preservatives" in vaccines sometimes, it's a mess.

Birth control tactics have existed for thousands and thousands of years, long before profitable drugs with heinous side effects were being pushed on us.
This information gets suppressed because it can't be monetized. The same with so many other forms of healthcare. If corporations can't profit, chances are you don't know about it unless you're looking very hard.

Yes, I am not sure what the solution is either.
One thing I am certain is that the religious zealotry and moral authority arguments are getting out of control. Roe v Wade has become the most sacred government action in their minds, possibly enough to become the basis to all future laws they wants passed or erased. For any women who have never been a mother before to claim that they have moral authority over the unborn is quite ludicrous.
One of the problems with our lawmaking systems is becoming clear. Laws are often being passed by people who have a clear bias and conflict of interest. They are unable to make decisions objectively based on how it affects the largest groups of people.
I think there will likely be some consequences for what happened in New York. Higher court rulings. Protests. Better data gathering on abortion cases. Congressional action. Removed funding. Lower marriage rate, at the very least.

Funny thing about Roe v Wade, is Roe ended up not having the abortion and gave the baby up for adoption.
