Your my favorite whale @berniesanders, but this whole posting is kind-of a shame to see on steemit...
I understand @luminousvisions is a pain in the ass, swears and is generally rude to most users (specifically the whales). He also lacks understanding on how the whole system works. But to make a posting about him, talking about censoring him, and then to also get rewarded for it. This post has a larger reward than most halloween postings with decent content.
I just don't think this is the "Type" of postings that should be rewarded...
Maybe take @clayop as an example, he makes witness postings that have "refused" payout checked.
-Your probably one of steemits most active users, and most popular whales. Don't let this turd get under your skin, I'm sure there will be others just like him in the future.
Take care

I'm not a fan of all this steemit drama... but I guess this post is necessary to defend yourself... I've had my fair share of troll encounters and learned that not only do they get bored when you ignore them and don't engage, but after a while when everything has calmed down they sometimes reach out and we either come to a compromise or learn something from each other.

My advice if you want it is don't stoop to their level. The way you present yourself in comments often doesn't make you look like less of a troll... Only knowing the history gives me a better perspective but not everybody bothers to check the story behind the drama...

Using a post to express yourself is part of why we are all here. No matter how you choose to get paid. You give back way more and many of us appreciate it a lot!

Lastly, Thank you @berniesanders for your votes to me and at least a dozen others in the #steemprentice group that I posted in my Steemprentice Spotlight. Keep up all your great work and contributions!

Shouldn't this be handled by #steemitabuse instead of taking isolated action?

I have a question concerning this action, I don't want in the middle of anything as I don't even know what happened. But...

Say someone has like 5000 steem power and is abusing the flag or simply trolling. And a whale such as yourself starts flagging them, how does that prevent them from continuing to abuse their steem power ?

That's interesting because I kinda thought about a scenario where "Mega Corp X" comes in and buys up loads of steep power and starts spamming the crap out of us...

I know everyone wants everything decentralized and all that but at the end of the day Steemit is just php-sql pulling from the blockchain and could easily add an admin panel to block such abuse.

Members in good standing could even vote on and impeach said admins...

Just a thought, thanks for the reply...

Then no one would use Steemit, price'd reach near zero, and it'd be a bad investment for the "Mega Corp X" after all.

What if it was in Mega Corp X interest to take down steemit? It's not unusual for corps to try to buy out competitors.

Since Steem and Steemit are open-source softwares, we could start again in that not likely case. Even Mega Corp X has not infinite money to buy out every relaunched Steem clone.
From a buyout, the brand would suffer, but not the idea.

Steemit would see some serious changes in power if I win the lottery. I'd buy so much freaking steem power, all of it. haha. I know that's redundant. But still enough to be louder than all.

Unless there is a way to block an IP, the user is likely to come under a different name. Sometimes, it is just better to ignore or flag\ignore.

Yea, he's already a -9 and has been providing me with some amazing entertainment today. It'll be easy to find him if he comes back under a different account, you just gotta look for the moron repeating nonsense over and over again.

If you ran for President you got my vote, thanks.

how did this get flagged so many times??? holy cow

either ignore them or nuke em from orbit. (it's the only way to be sure)
No half measures either way.
