Now, if Biden could convince the Supreme Court that assassinating a political opponent was part of his official duties, this claim might make sense. Good luck with that.

Here's a reality: the average academic knows as much about constitutional law as the average garbage collector, because they've put exactly the same amount of effort into studying it. But having a PhD in hand and knowing they're smart (he's at Stanford, after all), they fancy themselves knowledgeable.
