Saya masih penasaran mengapa Hasan Tiro menabalkan kata freedom bukan kata independence dalam buku-nya Jum Merdehka yang versi english. Rasa penasaran ini membuat kita bertanya-tanya seperti halnya siapa yang akan meneruskan catatan harian tersebut yang konon berjudul The Price of Freedom : The Unfinished Diary of Teungku Hasan di Tiro. Judul itu seperti memberikan petunjuk dan makna tersirat bahwa suatu saat catatan tersebut akan dilanjutkan menjadi sebuah catatan yang utuh (finished).
