In life, the people of Aceh tend to be fatalist (surrender to fate). However, it is not a blind fatalis that has no basis. They hold on to the power of God in giving sustenance to all human beings. Nevertheless (they believe in the power of God), they still believe that moving (working) is one way to pick up the provision of God.
Dalam perikehidupan, masyarakat Aceh cenderung fatalis (menyerah kepada Nasib). Namun, bukanlah fatalis buta yang tidak memiliki dasar. Mereka berpegang pada kekuasaan Allah dalam memberikan rezeki kepada seluruh manusia. Meskipun demikian (mereka percaya kepada kekuasaan Allah), mereka tetap berkeyakinan bahwa bergerak (bekerja) merupakan salah pintu rezeki dan Allah akan memberikannya.
