This object has long been used as a cooking tool. This tool is produced from wild soil which then burned. We in Aceh named Belangon or Belanga in bahasa Indonesia.

The use of cookware from the soil began in Neolithic times. Good for cooking water, rice until other side dishes.

In Aceh, the craftsmen of cooking utensils from the soil still survive today. But the purchase is minimal from day to day.

This situation is caused by the emergence of other cookware made of iron and aluminum.
