"Cak ceng" Aceh Tradisional Games

One of the most games that often played by children in Aceh. In Different place the name of the game also different such as me who life in Bireuen one of city in Aceh, we often named it “cak ceng”, but in aceh Tamiang and Aceh Besar people named it “keong game”, because one of important item should we prepare before start this game is “the shell” and shell in bahasa is “keong”.
Well for steemit friends who want to try to play this game I will explain briefly. this game is a game thats easy to get and also to learn. before we start the game, we should have to provide in advance a ball that can bounce, in Indonesia we named it “bola bekel” or “bola kasti” . furthermore we should also provide shells of “cypraea annulus” about 5 or 6 seeds depending on the player's agreement.

This game there are at least played by three people. after determining the player, the player must determine the sequence people who start the game, by doing "hompimpa" and in Aceh naming with "dem" after determining the order of players, player should make a deal for example: the player cannot get three shell in “serimbang’s” step. If they get three shell then will be done "rampok" or like stealing the shell away. when the deal finished just starting the game

The first step, the player must throw the shells simultaneously but in a long distance, after the shells are thrown then the player throws the ball and takes one by one the shells as long as the ball bounces but it can only be once reboud, while taking the shell, it should not hit the other shell, if hit the other shell than the player will die and continued by other players according to the order
The second step if the player managed to take one by one shells then that player just continued to take 2 shells paired in a ball rebound, if successfully followed by taking 3 shells, 4 shells to 6 shells that taken simultaneously.
if it is successfully taken it will be followed by the next step that is turning the palm of the hand while throwing the shells and the shells should land on the back of the hand, well according to the agreement if the player get three shells that landed on the back of the hand will be robbed and the player will die, but if the player gets 2 - 6 shells then the shells successfully reversed back into the palm of the hand, the shells that managed to return to the palm of the hand will be counted as a score that will be a guide to determine the winner in the game, ,
