Bu Gring - Traditional food as a reflection of local culture

Aceh has a variety of diversity should be preserved its existence. One was the traditional culinary that is currently rife forgotten. In fact, it is often forgotten in the midst of the public thought that the culinary arts of the region is a reflection of the tradition and culture of the area. Just as Bu Gring, culture of the Acehnese people in a glorified notion of culture is a form consisting of cultural values, norms, and laws of the community is embodied in the culinary arts. "Bu Gring" is one of the traditional food of Aceh and until today still sold in some traditional pastry shop located in the province of Aceh. Ingredient

  • Glutinous Rice
  • Candied aren
  • Cooking oil

How to cultivate it

  1. glutinous rice is washed thoroughly and then steamed until cooked.
  2. Drying the glutinous rice that has been cooked dipanas sun until hard.
  3. Heat oil, fry glutinous rice is dried until creamy.
  4. Serve in dishes / suitable basin, then pour over the dish of candied sugar, stir and shape according to taste.
