Coral reefs at Pantai Gapang offer a wide range of macro organisms that are very much like frogfish, gazer and gurnard stars. Whale sharks and mola mola can also be seen during the right season. Gapang Beach also has a white sandy mangrove forest. At high tide, the air becomes very clear and at low tide you can find marine life like a baby octopus, or baby lobsters in Tallah shallow.
Snorkeling on Rubiah Island offers spectacular underwater scenery at once. You can enjoy swimming with many tropical fish and colorful coral reefs. The price to rent snorkeling equipment is Rp 40.000, - per day. You can reach Rubiah from Sabang about 30 minutes by boat.
