How are you? Hopefully everything is running well with you all. I would like to share you about my visit to an art community called Kanot Bu Community in Lam Teumen, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Kanot bu, are two Acehnese words. Kanot bu means rice cooker. I do not know why they name this community with that name. I believe that they keep the meaning of this community. In fact, when I met the people in that community this afternoon, I found that they were creative and care, active and productive and even critical in facing the current issues and situation.
It was my first time to meet this youth community where all of the members of the community are great. Everyone has his or hers special skill in arts. There are youths who are talented in drawing, painting, designs, etc.
