Lansoprazole works by decreasing acid production by the stomach. This drug can also be used to relieve symptoms such as heartburn (stomach heat), difficulty swallowing, and a cough that does not heal. During clinical research, occasional side effects may occur: headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, hard bleeding, dizziness, fatigue, skin rash, and others. Not everyone has this side effect. Instead, when it happens you immediately call your doctor again. Heal your total or not can only be ascertained from the symptoms that appear and the results of examination by the doctor.

Increased stomach acid can occur at any time such as excessive stress, irregular eating, eating foods that irritate the stomach such as spicy and sour, and others. You should re-consult your doctor for more. May be useful
