LHOKSUKON - Floods are getting worse in North Aceh. Having previously soaked a number of inland sub-districts is now a disaster extends to the District Lhoksukon which affects the paralysis of community activities and offices in the capital of North Aceh regency.

Highly affected government agencies include Lhoksukon District Court, Lhoksukon District Office, Keuchik office, Lhoksukon Police Station, Koramil, puskesmas and a number of other offices. Banking services in the Keude area of ​​Kuta Lhoksukon were also paralyzed. The teaching and learning process in a number of sub-districts was also completely stopped.

After the water soaked the settlement area in Kampung Baru, Kuta Village Lhoksukon, the residents moved quickly to move valuables from inside the house including parked vehicles to safe places, such as on the edge of Banda Aceh-Medan National Road. On Monday the surface of the flood was higher.
Merchant activity in Kuta Lhoksukon stalled since Sunday (3/12) night at around 22:00 pm. Merchants move merchandise to a safe location. Only ruko on the outskirts of national roads are still open because they have not been flooded yet. While fruit traders have to sell in street gardens and fish traders on the national roadside.
Road users are also difficult to cross because in addition to the swift currents as well as water levels on the national road to reach 50 centimeters. The security forces from the TNI / Polri worked extra to avoid the occurrence of unexpected things.
Head of the Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) of North Aceh, Saifullah told Serambi that there are dozens of schools submerged in North Aceh, especially elementary schools in Lhoksukon, Pirak Timu, Matangkuli, Cot Girek, Baktiya, Syamtalira Aron and several other districts.
