Hello everyone,
YAKUBU ABUBAKARI is my name. A proud 21-year-old Ghanaian currently living in Ghana. I was born and raised in Tamale and had my basic and secondary education here in Ghana.
I am a level 200 BSc Computer Science student in the C. K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (CKT UTAS), Ghana.
Growing up, I have always loved technology and everything that has to do with technology. This gave me the courage and passion for knowledge of technology and here I am today in the technology world working very hard to make a great positive impact to my country and the world at large. I am a programmer who likes programming in python, java, PHP and others.
I always encourage myself to learn more and have the aim of becoming one of the best contributors in the tech industry, few years to come.
I have learnt about most cryptocurrencies in my career in acquiring knowledge and skills in the tech world. Some of these cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin were introduced to me by my friends and others I also learned. I really didn’t gain a lot from these cryptocurrencies because most of them require a lot of funds to be able to earn much in them which was a challenge as a student. I never knew something like STEEMIT.
Fortunately, I was introduced to STEEMIT, a blockchain-based blogging and social website which rewards its users with the cryptocurrency STEEM for publishing and curating, free registration and users earn by just voting on posts and comments. I am very happy to be part of this community.
My Hobbies
Some of the activities I like doing during my leisure hours for pleasure are watching movies; I like watching movies like Evangelion, The Suicide Squad, Code Girl and others in order to explore more and more in my field, I also like coding, playing video and board games and also travelling. In fact, a tech geek who finds everything about technology very interesting without dislikes as the world today is filled with technology.
Joining this community, I aim to find opportunities, knowledge and skills to continue in building myself and STEEMIT at large. For this, I will be more interested in posts about technology, science, tech movies, anything I found to be interesting and above all posts that will educate me more about this community. I will also be posting mostly about these areas so stay alert for interesting posts from me.
I was introduced to STEEMIT in a seminar which was organised by a concerned student, Mr. Maazin Mohammed Muhib of the CKT UTAS, my current school held on 18th September, 2021. A competent tutor who is also one of the country representatives of STEEMIT in Ghana, @njaywan together with other friends in the STEEMIT community made this seminar a memorable one.
I say a very big Thank you to @zzzinnn, @njaywan, @farhmade, @massachussetts, @zology69, @abdulkahargunu, @desiigner for this great opportunity. I hope and pray we grow together to the highest level in this community and help in introducing more people to the community. God bless us all and long live STEEMIT.
