My Actifit Report Card: October 18 2018, You Make Me Smile, by Tamy

Here's a 28k report for you along with a Big Smile!

I'm including the song that I've had stuck in my head for many years. I found this on YouTube when I was looking for things to write about on YouTubeStars. My blog has had nearly 2 million views. In the early days it was quite popular when everyone knew me and I knew everybody, because YouTube was a small community. Kind of like now on Steemit although it's getting to be pretty big!

So Tamy is a German girl who's about 15 or 16 in this video, singing a song She Wrote and played the music for, dedicated to her friend Bertie. She has gone on to have some success in the music business mainly as a member of a popular German Duo. She also sings at weddings and various functions around her town.

I just think it's a sweet song that somebody would write to their friend.

You make me smile! Knowing that I can count on you.
And I need you by my side, now and for always!
 

This is one of the last songs I heard on my random playlist as I was dancing around and doing things around the house. I hope you play the video and enjoy the song, and think about friends you had when you were back in school, or if you're in school now, friends you should cherish!

It's a cute video that she probably made by herself. It's filmed in her bedroom and she has a few different outfits she wears in different parts of the song. She looks a little nervous in parts, and flips her hair to get it out of her eyes a few times. But this just makes it more endearing to me, and reminds me of a simpler time in life, and in all of our lives, when anyone could put up a video on YouTube to show what they were doing in their lives.
