Hello everyone π»,
TGIF ππ and a very warm welcome to my report. Ramadan mubarak if you are muslim.
I trust your last day of Feb is going well π―, mine has been awesome and it's now that time of day to slow down and fill you in on how it went including the trending stories that caught my eye π.
Thank you for stopping by and let's get it flowingπ¨.
So I began my day with a quick walk around the neighborhood. A chilly morning but quite sunnyπ.
Then I was back indoors after about 20 minutes of walking ending up at the grocery.
I set out to do some house chores before settling down to some you tube videos and checking on trending stories on x.
The lovely sunshine π continued during the day, it was wonderful .
The evening saw me out for my final walk around the park before heading back indoors.
So now let's quickly take a look at what has been trending.
The biggest story is Zelensky being kicked out of the whitehouse for refusing to sign the minerals deal without security guaranteesπΏ.
For him Putin cannot be trusted but Trump insisted that under him they need to trust PutinπΉ.
JD Vance and Trump ganged up on him telling him he was courting world war 3 and his country faced total destructionπ.
They then called Zelenky disrespectful and of not saying thank you after US spent over $300 billion in Ukraine.
Quite a shameful display of an American administration showing total and full support of Putin who is the aggressor.
Yes the war can be ended by diplomacy but should Putin go scot free for all that destruction?
Many European leaders have been posting showing support for Zelensky and Ukraine.
I am sure a fall out between Trump and some European leaders is on the cards.
Am also sure Putin and his crew are celebrating what just happened, America standing and supporting them is like magicπΉ.
After Russia invaded Ukraine so many American companies closed down in Russia, is there a chance they will be heading back. Is Trump headed to normalizing ties with Russia?
We wait to see what happens next.
In Europe, Greece trending after protesters engaged with police in street battles. They were protesting a lack of accountabilty in governance as they marked the second anniversary of the rail disaster that killed 57 people.
In the UK , international development minister has resigned saying the cuts to international aid, announced earlier this week, by the PM, to fund an increase in defence spending, would remove food and healthcare from desperate people - deeply harming the UK's reputation.
So that's about it from me, see you again tomorrow on an amazing Saturday or is it Caturday ππΉ. Until then, it's good night π΄ and Adios β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π»π―
