Hello everyone π»,
Happy Tuesday π and a very warm welcome to my report. It's all about treeπ² pictures as we also take a look at what's been happening around the world π.
First of all let's get into my stepping and how my day went. I woke up to a bright morning π so just like yesterday I was out for my usual morning walk.
A rather short one as I had an appointment and other commitments around 11pm. Anyway, the walk was nice in the warm weather.
The afternoon saw me checking out Twitter and you tube for the trending stories of the day.
Meanwhile, football was going on, more on that later.
This evening, I finished my day off with a quick walk around the neighborhood ending up at the park π² for a little work out on the leg press and the stationary bike.
That was it, and I was back indoors relaxing.
So now let's get into the trending stories.
Nairobi, Kenya trending as angry protesters stormed into parliament buildings where a punitive tax bill had just been passedπ.
They smashed windows and set part of the building on fireπ₯. The police were overpowered and chose to fire live bullets killing upto 13 protestersπΏ.
The situation remains tense, a stubborn president bent on raising taxes to pay foreign debts while ordinary people sufferπ‘.
Ironic that 400 Kenyan police have just landed in Haiti to help restore peace while Nairobi burnsπΉ.
In the UK, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange set for freedom. He is on a trip to the US controlled pacific island of Saipan. He will enter a plea deal with the US and later be allowed to fly to his home country of Australia π.
It's been many years of upheaval, wishing him the very bestπ―.
In the middle east, the situation in Gaza remains the same. More deaths as Israeli airstrikes hit the north and southπΏ.
Israel trending as the supreme court ruled that ultra Orthodox men must be enlisted into the armyπ. They had earlier been exempt.
In Asia south Korea marked 74 years since the start of the Korean war that divided the Korean peninsula in two.
The North sent a fifth round of huge balloons full of trash across the borderπ. Kim jong UN must have a nut loose upstairsπΉ.
Finally, things are heating up in euro 2024. Today Austria stunned Netherlands with a three two winπ.
England struggled to draw with Slovenia. While Denmark drew with Serbia.
Unfortunately Serbia are out and will not be proceeding to the last 16πΏAnd so are Poland after a one one draw with France.
So that's it, see you again on an amazing hump πͺ day.
Stay safe take care and adios β€οΈ.
