Hello everyone π»,
TGIF ππ and a very warm welcome to my report. I trust your day is going well π―, mine has been awesome and it's now that time of day to slow down and fill you in on how it went including the trending stories that caught my eye π.
Without much further ado let's glide in π¨.
So I began my day with a quick walk around the neighborhood. Another cloudy chilly morning but I was dressed appropriately
Then I was back indoors after about 20 minutes of walking ending up at the grocery.
I set out to do some house chores before settling down to some you tube videos and checking on trending stories on x.
The evening saw me out for my final walk around Victoria station area. Quite a busy area as people were leaving work getting ready for the weekend.
So now let's quickly take a look at what has been trending.
In Gaza the blood bath continued with 39 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes across the stripπΏ.
Three of those were killed at Al Mawasi camp, a designated safe zoneπ.
UNHCR is investigating serious violations of international law by Israel in Gaza. The use of phosphorus munitions is also being investigated.
The death toll is now at 43,508 killed. UN says 70% of all killed are women and childrenπ. 17,120 children and close to 11,000 women.
In Lebanon, more airstrikes hit the Dahiyeh neighborhood of Beirut after Israel sent forced evacuation orders to civilians in the vicinity.
In Europe, Amsterdam trending as the streets turned violent as pro Palestinian protesters clashed with Israeli maccabi Tel Aviv supporters.
Allegedly, the Israeli supporters tore down and burned Palestinians flags, then went on to chant anti Arab hate speechπ.
This prompted pro Palestinian supporters to target and attack them. Several arrests were made in the melee.
In France, the bells of the Notre Dame rang out for the first time since 2019. It was destroyed by a huge fire but years of painstaking renovation have paid offπ.
Across the pond in the US, Trump can't wait to start workπΉ, he has been naming part of his team that will help deliver his agenda.
Meanwhile, his court cases will now be postponed because the supreme court earlier ruled that a president is immune from prosecution. So he gets away with itπ.
Experts have warned that his plan of mass deportations of illegal migrants will cost tax payers billions of dollars. There are an estimated 11 million people due for deportationπ.
Anyways, that's about it from me, see you again tomorrow on an amazing Saturday or is it Caturday ππΉ. Until then, it's good night π΄ and Adios β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π»π―
