Iβm back from my dance event up in Vancouver and am excited to get back into my regular everyday routine!
Like the rest of this weekend - I wasnt able to have my phone on me for parts of the day - so my Actifit report isnβt totally accurate.
I still had a good amount of stuff to add into my healthy highlight reel though!
Ps... are you wondering about my weird selfie for the cover photo? During dance conventions - I spend at least 8 hours a day on my feet dancing. At the end of the night - I like to take a few moments to soak my feet in ice cold water to help reduce any swelling and to help me cool off before going to bed.
Sitting in the sink counter is the perfect spot!
The Daily Health Highlight Reel
Danced for 3 hours in the middle of the night and got in a few thousand steps between midnight -3am. π
Went to a few hours of dance classes this morning.
Did a 20 minute workout when I got home. Anyone else remember the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred workouts? Iβm totally stoked to bring those back. I used to do them everyday!
Went for a 35 minute walk after my workout.
Made a fresh smoothie after my walk! π
Cooked a healthy, simple dinner of cilantro lime prawns and mango avocado salsa.
I sure hope your feet are feeling better legit danced them off right? :D
Sounds like a good solid day, it was pretty cold here did most of my walking inside but made it up to 6k not to bad for an in house day.

Thatβs super awesome for an indoor day! I donβt have a gym membership and so I totally feel ya on those rainy or cold days. Itβs hard to really get active and moving.

hahaha yep it's me!! I like doing more "quick post" kind of things on my secondary account. It's been really fun to start using actifit! I actually notice that i'm more active just because I know i'll have to post it to the blockchain that night.

Would be pretty cool to dedicate more of my time everyday to dancing though. Maybe one day when I'm not working so much. hehe

hahah yeah I usually don't spend hours dancing in the middle of the night - just when I'm at weekend conventions.
My smoothie is super simple! I just do the following:
Then just some water and blend! The collagen doesn't have any flavor, and so it just tastes like a super fresh fruit drink. The lemon really makes it. :)

I know that feeling my feet look like chewed up and spit out hamburger meat but I can't stop playing soccer, I love it too much. Just wearing flip flops doesn't look as pleasant but who cares right?

What style of dancing do you do? I started to appreciate dancing after dating a dancer, love seeing contemporary and hip hop. Unfortunately I have two left feet.
