Yesterday was the second day of the Agro Expo and it was exciting to be a part of the technical sessions followed by inspections of Agro processing machines.
I had a busy time attending to farmers who came to place demands for processing machines for their agricultural products.
I so enjoyed myself being that moments spent there afforded me the opportunity to relate directly with farmers, getting to hear their challenges in farming and processing of their produce.
I am still keenly looking forward to a blockchain project that will effectively empower Agriculture.
Much of the time was spent evaluating the batch drier which is effective for drying fish and plantain chips.
We made recommendations for the improvement of the machine design to cater for hygiene, safety of operator and capacity criteria.
