Speaking at the protest meeting, Mr. Mohinder Goyal said that due to development activities, sometimes the environmental aspects are less important. He said that in order to create jobs in a city like Delhi, keeping the standard of living must continue development activities.
Knowing about the long-term harmful aspects of giving development priority to the environment, Goel thinks there is a lack of coordination in the activities of environmentalists. He said, I think environmentalists' statements about pollution are far sightless. However, the court recently gave directions to the Delhi authorities not to cut any tree. So, Delhiites think they can be effective in prevention of air pollution in the long run.
