One of the Largest Universities in the World, Cardano (ADA) Takes Its Step! #Cardano has entered the #curriculum!
The University of Zurich is among the world's largest in its field and has recently taken an important step towards the cryptocurrency industry.
🏫University of Zurich Adds Cardano to Its Blockchain Course
The officials of the University of Zurich had previously taken steps towards the cryptocurrency industry and provided training on some cryptocurrencies. Now, the Cardano (ADA) network has been added to the university's blockchain-related 2021 curriculum.
In the statement made by the University of Zurich, it was emphasized that Cardano was added to the curriculum and program named "Deep Dive into Blockchain 2021". While the UZH Blockchain Center modules are taught to the students participating in the training, they will also be informed about the changes that can be made with the blockchain.
⚠️Positive Step for ADA
The course aims to teach much more of blockchain technology from a technical perspective only. The addition of Cardano to the program, which will include the critical design theory, the economic model under it, and the innovations offered by blockchain-based systems, could be a very appropriate move.
Members of crypto money projects such as Tezos Foundation and IOST were previously invited by the University of Zurich to teach in the project. It was stated that the Cardano CEO will be one of the guest instructors in the course in the upcoming dates with this new development.
While this is particularly positive for Cardano in particular, it reveals the growth achieved by blockchain technology in general. Once associated only with the cryptocurrency industry, the blockchain industry is now used for different applications all over the world. The transparency offered by blockchain and dozens of innovations not in central systems seem to have changed the situation.
👨💻Blockchain Technology Spreads
The fact that there are many different universities providing blockchain education around the world shows that mainstream acceptance in blockchain technology is almost reached. Some of the world's largest universities such as Cornell, Harvard and MIT also offer blockchain education.
Cardano was developed by Charles Hoskinson, one of the co-founders of Ethereum, and with its Proof-of-Stake infrastructure, it is actually a network that is ahead of the time. It is known that Cardano will have smart contracts with the Alonzo hard fork this summer. With smart contracts, the network is expected to enter the decentralized financial world.
