Ingredients:
- 500 g of finely minced lamb or beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 2 green bell peppers, finely chopped
- 1 tsp paprika powder (hot or mild, depending on your preference)
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Fresh flatbread or pita bread for serving
- Tomatoes, peppers, and onions for garnish
- Lemon slices for serving
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix together the minced meat with onions, garlic, green bell peppers, paprika powder, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
Thread the meat mixture onto skewers, evenly distributing it along the skewers. Press the meat firmly onto the skewers to prevent it from falling off during grilling.
Preheat the grill and place the skewers on the grill. Grill, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and lightly browned on the outside, usually about 10-15 minutes.
Remove the Adana Kebab skewers from the grill and serve on a plate with fresh flatbread or pita bread. Garnish with tomatoes, peppers, onions, and lemon slices.
