AIX 10G Adapter Config

[Change : Default = InfiniBand to TCPIP 10G ethernet adapter]

  1. Check the status

lsdev -Cc adapter

  1. Change the attribute
  • delete the infiniti band device adapter

    rmdev -dl roce0

    Adapter name : hbaX (X = 0,1,2,)
    Check the attr : lsattr -El hbaX
    Change the attr : chdev -l hbaX -a stack_type=ofed -P ( aix_ib to ofed)
    • Configure :# cfgmgr
  1. Check the adapter

lsslot -c pci : hba

Check the adapter

lsdev -Cc adapter (ex. ent0)
