Sneakers Adidas X Parley for The Oceans uses 95% of the plastic waste removed from the surface of the Maldives waters, and 5% recycled polyester, which is processed into Primeknit on the upper part, including shoelaces, heel shields and sock liners, Elastic resembles socks. Each pair is a processed product of eleven plastic bottles. Ocean blue colored stripes on the upper surface, made from recycled fishing nets used by fishermen, are found left in the deep sea.
