Anyone who follows sports at all knows the name, Lebron James. Lebron seems to find himself in the media all the time. Whether it is his dominating play on the court or his big decisions about where he is going to play in the upcoming season, we are hearing about him almost daily. This year has been no exception as he was a free agent in the offseason and there was an incredible amount of debate about where he would end up this year. In the end, he chose to go to Los Angeles and play for the Lakers as many predicted he might do. The Lakers have not gotten off to the start you might have thought they would with the Leagues biggest star now on the roster. I think I even heard one analyst say that it was a horrible start. Could it be that Lebron has brought some horror to Los Angeles? It turns out that he has horror on the brain.

I'm not defending that guy when he drives the lane

No stranger to being in the spotlight, James has been making a move to transfer his success on the hardwood to make a splash in Hollywood. Back in September, Lebron was connected to the announcement of a sequel to the popular Warner Brothers movie Space Jam starring Micheal Jordan. Lebron James will be the face of the Space Jam 2 movie as he attempts to recreate the magic of the first movie. His appearance in the Space Jam sequel makes perfect sense and I am sure that moviegoers and basketball fans alike will line up at the box office to see the film. Will he be as good as Jordan was? That remains to be seen but either way, the movie will make money.

Lebron will be the man in Space Jam 2

This is just part of Lebon's attempt to get his name in lights on the Hollywood stage. His desire to take Hollywood by storm doesn't stop with becoming an actor. James has his eyes set on getting into the production side of the business as well.

In 2008, James co-founded SpringHill Entertainment, a production company that’s since developed a number of TV and documentary projects, including the Starz series Survivor’s Remorse. SpringHill is now slated to remake the 1990 hip hop comedy House Party, to be written by two writers on FX’s Emmy-winning series Atlanta. And rumors of a sequel to Space Jam—the 1996 cult classic that starred Michael Jordan as the live-action leader of a cartoon basketball team—have followed James and his company for years. Source

He has some big plans and his money and star power have people in the industry listening. It shouldn't be a secret that Lebron James is a huge horror movie buff. Lebron's social media is full of references to his love of horror films and he has shared this passion for horror movies on several occasions during interviews. This passion actually was represented in a pair of Lebron James endorsed Nike shoes released in 2015 with the Friday the 13th theme. The shoes are all white high top basketball shoes that are splattered with what looks like blood.

This passion for horror is making a new turn as Lebron James is spearheading a box office reboot of the famous Friday the 13th franchise. He has already been involved in the production of some shows and movies with his production company Signal Hill. The franchise was initially going to be rebooted last year but the project was dropped by Paramount pictures who owned the rights to the story and characters at the time. Since then, the rights have been transferred back to the Original creator and writer, Victor Miller, of the Jason movies and the James group is hoping to push for the release of a new installment of the series with Miller at the lead.

Could that be Lebron under the mask? He should use it when he mans up on D

The group including Lebron is in the initial stages of getting this project off the ground but there appears to be some traction to the idea. Nothing is set in stone yet but it appears very likely that this could actually happen. Having James backing the project will certainly increase the opportunity for other backers and these horror flicks really don't take a lot of financial backing to get made. Horror movies are typically low budget projects. This means that Lebron James and his financial empire are more than capable of backing such an undertaking. The recent release of the new Halloween movie has been a huge success so far and the Micheal Myers franchise is raking in the cash. At this point the new Halloween movie released Oct 19th, 2018 has grossed just shy of $250,000,000 with an operating budget of only $10,000,000. That is huge profits coming from the nostalgia horror lovers.

As the NBA season gets ramped up, it seems that Lebron James's plate is filling fast. The sky is the limit when it comes to the Lebron James franchise and if he has it his way he will be taking Jason from the dead yet again. The Lebron James empire is set to grow even more and we could soon be seeing billboards with Lebron and Jason slashing their way to the top. Maybe James can convince Jason to suit up for the Lakers he can help fix the nightmare of a start the team is off to.

This is such a crazy topic right here! I've followed Lebron for most of his career and he's one of the greatest players in history. I remember seeing Kobe get a record number of 3pt shots at a Sonics game back in the day. It was like witnessing athletic genius. A targeted missile launcher aka ace 3pt shooter!

Kobe was great too. Both guys drafted out of high school. That can’t hapoen anymore.

"It ain't bragging if you can do it." Pete Rose said it but LeBron lives it too.

He's had a lot of years as 'best in the business' and going to LA should leave him just fine. Win a championship? I don't think so with this team, but the Buss family has a way of filling in the pieces.

Movie career? I really have no idea. Why not?

All it takes is a little $$$ and you can fill whatever gaps you need.

LeBron James is one of those sports figures who arouses all kinds of passions, no matter what he's doing. these days I saw him coming to a mall for an interview and it was an incredible euphoria, only comparable to the emotions caused by a music star or Hollywood star in his fans.
Just as there are its defenders, so do its destroyers, and just as many people say it wants to look like Jordan, the great God of the NBA, or they call him arrogant or disloyal, on account of having left the Cleveland Cavaliers. Some defenders of LeBron consider him the most criticized and observed American athlete at this moment, which is further aggravated by the polarizing effect of social networks. The one who has Space Jam in mind is a way to throw more branch to the candle, and I see that it is a perfect way to continue promoting themselves. I remember that when Jordan left the sport, he wanted to be an actor, but he did so badly in Space Jam that I think he forgot the idea. Suddenly, since there are so many similarities between him and LeBron, he forgets the idea of being an actor.

Today we were very faranduleros and stuck in the show zone. I liked it, @broncofan99! Thanks to you for making texts so enjoyable and to @dsactly for sharing them!

I thought Jordan was good in Space Jam. It was cheesy and of course he wasn’t an actor but it was entertaining.

It takes a day to meet someone and so i will be my own research about him and follow him up to know more... But i hope it doesn't make me stayed glued to watching basket ball it wasn't and its still not one of my favourite.

Basketball is one if the sport games I have disliked since when I was small, I still prefer to play table tennis or football than basketball but not everybody is like me you know. Some love basketball than any other sport games

Everyone has their own tastes for sure. It’s what makes us human.

The world of mass spectacle catches everything, from music and acting to gastronomy and sport. I think it's one of the most clearly characteristic signs of recent decades. So the transition from one type of activity to another is not so much, in my opinion, a question of vocation or aptitude, as of gaining fame and financial interest. So, that Lebron James has gone on to become an audiovisual producer, and now a possible actor in a supposed Space Jam 2 and, more, in the possible return of Jason, enters into that dynamic. If he will do well, or if he will go well, we will see; although sometimes they only care if they "go well", in terms of financial income, and little if the product is of quality. You can't tell how horrifying their film debut will be. By the way, I was struck by your phrase: "It turns out that he has horror on the brain". Thank you for your information and comments, @broncofan99. Greetings.

Lebron is the best NBA's best player at the moment. But I consider that his constants changes of team subtract him greatness. Jordan never changed his team when it was in his worse moment.

Jordan was a champion and a winner. He persevered always.

Yes, He always had a strong mentality and always wanted to win!. His plays was very spectacular. Jordan will be the best forever.

You know I have always love to play basketball then but I guess I was told that I was small to play basketball so I quit it. I have heard about lebron James for long. He is very popular in the media and even in sport

He is considered be many to be the greatest basketball player ever. Although, it is debatable.

Basketball seems to be dominating more fans and great players at the moment than any other sports.
I have heard about Jason sometime ago but haven't watched him sha, actually not a fan of basketball but this really seems interesting. I know what I'll do, I'll check out when next Jason would feature in a match and make sure I have something to contribute after the encounter.

very entertaiment

Dude, I am a huge fan of LBJ! Cool little fact... 5 out of the top 6 NBA all time scoring leaders ended their career as Lakers! Btw, Lebron will be much better in Space Jam 2 because he has a bigger personality and is not uptight like Jordan. Jordan was a great and or the greatest to ever play, but he was kinda a DICK. I guess I'm a Lebron fanboy... smdh.

Lebron has a best career ever in sports! Great athlete, Humble and kind! God bless LBJ!!!
