My thoughts on the Morgan Freeman scandal.

For most of you guys who are very conversant with the entertainment news on your TV, you must have gotten wind of the scandal going on with Morgan Freeman. This evening I am going to be sharing my thoughts on the scandal but before that allow me to give a brief enumeration on what the scandal is all centered around.

So within the week, CNN got reports that Morgan Freeman has been subject to a lot of sexual harassment accusations and of course they were quick to jump into the case. In the course their investigation, eight women who had worked with Freeman claimed to have been constantly harassed sexually by Freeman and sixteen more people claimed to have also witnessed Freeman's inappropriate behavior first hand and some of thesr sixteen people claimed to have also been harassed. According to CNN,

eight people told CNN that they were victims of what "some " labelled sexual harassment and others called inappropriate behavior. eight others claimed to be witnesses. Many others claimed that Morgan Freeman was always professional.

please note that this excludes the sixteen people interviewed.

Furthermore a video of an interview between Morgan Freeman and a certain young lady ( who I'm going to withhold her name) was released. In this video she asked him why he loves being a bachelor and he replied.

because I get to look at obviously beautiful women like you and drool freely.

CNN also claimed that initially she wasn't offended by his statement as her smiles betrayed her. but with the resent developments, she decided to pick an offence. My best guess is that she also doesn't want to be left out of the gold diggers band wagon.

From the above we can critically see the workings of desperate gold diggers who are looking for an excuse rip the actor of some cash. From the report, we see a lot of people claiming to have been sexually abused, and if you go through the whole story, some of these so called incidences happened years ago (some even dating back to 2005). Some my question is why they had to wait so long to come out?.

Eight of those women had eight witnesses which means a witness per woman. Isn't that just clique? Like what where they thinking? He'd sexually harassed me in front of one witness?. Well I think they had cajoled the witness into playing along with their schrade, promises of money could have easily swayed studio hands don't you think?.

A woman claimed that Morgan Freeman had flared up on set when a fellow actor challenged him for touching a staff inappropriately but CNN never cared to confirm if this was true. The actor has not even verified if that ever happened. If you ask me I'd say CNN is so much enthralled by the scandal that they didn't care to investigate well enough.

Furthermore, Morgan Freeman had this to say about the accusations

“Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy, I apologise to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected – that was never my intent.”

This very well corresponds with what the mass of his workers had to say about him. Of course CNN never cared to state their number... As I said they are too busy sipping from the cup of juicy gossip. The statement also portrays a man who is sincerely apologising for an offence he obviously knows nothing about, like a true gentleman would.
