I think this is a great post, and I definitely think resilience is a good thing to cultivate. But I feel the need to point out something on the point about "staying strong." It's important to remember that not giving in to emotions isn't the same as not having them. Almost anyone would feel mad, sad, or upset when things don't go their way! Trying to just flat out deny that those feelings exist at all just makes them build up and turn into resentment, and probably ultimately erodes resilience over time. A truly resilient person knows how to feel emotion without getting stuck in it--they'll probably take a few minutes to be angry, to be able to feel it and let it go, before going back to the task and moving on.
